The first three names on the exit list for me would be Sears, Chambers & Skuse. They have all enjoyed a sustained period at the club and now it is time to build a squad ready for a proper outright promotion push.

Chambers potentially has a role as a squad player. At least you know that you have someone who is tough as old boots and can be called upon when needed. But he shouldn’t be captain or a regular starter

Sears yes, it not Chambers or Skuse. In my opinion Chambers will be great to have around the club for a while yet even if he doesn’t play regularly. He bleeds blue and you need that in the club to pass on to new comers. Skuse is a good steady, wise old head. Again, probably not a starter very often now, but useful experience to have around and a solid enough sub to to bring on when a steady head is needed.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

A bit of long term experience and stability goes a long way when everything else is being changed.

Every squad member has got to be a potential starter, you can't have guys just hanging around the club because they're nice people.....

Why lump them all together? They have had totally different contributions this season so seems a pointless comparison - one has earned one on the pitch whereas the other 2 havent

Trouble is you need impact players on the bench not steady stalwarts.

You need bench options, too. Chambers can cover CB and RB. If still fit (with which he has a very good record), he would stand a good chance of starting if a new first-choice man was injured or out of form.

Skuse is transitioning to a coaching role anyway.

Unless you want to shore things up at the back.

Sears and Skuse100%; Chambo let’s see how he does back in the middle on 09:22 - Apr 5 with 829 viewsunstableblue

Chambo at right back was ultimately a bad move in the championship, beaten far too many times by wide attackers, he’s had some good games out there in league one... but a few too many anonymous displays

He currently doesn’t look better than Toto in the middle, nor some of Wilson’s recent displays, but needs to be given time to settle back in as a centre back.

Some strong performances combined with his presence round the club may merit another year, especially as expected we remain in league one

All associated with long term failure. I'm afraid they are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

There is no player at this club that I would be at all concerned about if they left.

Not one.

Agree on skuse and Sears.
I'd say chambers needs a new deal, one of the better players this year and best CB at the club, far less mistakes in him than wolf, mcguniess and toto. Would be decent alongside Wilson.

Agreed all non starters should be signed on £0 contracts . Just need to find someone willing to sign

Now he's been fit for a decent amount of time Teddy should absolutely be retained, there's no chance of us finding a better striker than Norwood in this division either imo. If he is ever fit KVY but we've played so long without him it could definitely be argued it would be sensible to be a right back who may not be as good but actually can play every week.

That would be a great tactic for the new era, no subs!
