Mrs ullaa is on zoom downstairs teaching panio.
Grandmother ullaa is in the kitchen doing a zoom seminar to 150 Poles, as her Internet is screwed (never trust virgin Internet).
And I'm in the bedroom playing house husband to child ullaa.

Cool story bro

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

Must admit, I prefer the original lyrics to ‘Our House’. They scan much better, but well done for the effort.

Sort of relevant:

A mate of mine had complained for some time that he may as well not exist in his own household since tech had taken over the family vibe.

He reckoned he tried to engage with his family on many occasions and finally flipped one evening when they were all sat in the living room, with his wife and both teenage girls staring at their devices, and he couldn't get a word out of any of them.

He maintains that at one point at least two of them were communicating with each other via their devices whilst sitting a few feet apart.

He went upstairs, packed a couple of bags, got in the car and fecked off.

It's a reference to a song connected with The Savoy Hotel.

He did!

He'd had enough.

They were all crying for him to come 'home'.

He said he hadn't felt at home for years.

I seem to recall it wasn't even until late that night his wife even noticed he'd gone.

I never saw that so can't quite relate.

He met someone some time later and they remain happily married to this day.

Changed man mate. Used to come into work with the world on his shoulders and all that until he took the initiative.

But anyways, I saw him at work the next day and he described the scene to me. Part of me saw the humour but I could also see his point!

What's wrong with that? Me and Lady Dollers met that way, and we've survived a year and a half of being locked down together. And quite near Penge.

I think he meant it in the context of my post tbf.

Nothing wrong with meeting that way.

It would be a bit ironic for someone who'd left his missus because of her online activities.

Nothing old chap.

Don't you worry about it.

And you've spelt 'slap-bang in the middle of Penge' slightly wrongly.

Ah I see.

I do think the older generation do sneer at online dating sites (I know Glassers has and he's only about 10 years older than me). To me it's better than going up to a stranger in a bar. You're only going on looks then.

I've met several people online.

Some lass from Leeds way, a girl from London.

A couple or so from my own town/area.
