In fairness to Lambert, he at least has demonstrated competence twice in his life by playing at a high level (including Dortmund in case people didn’t realise; it’s a little known secret because, well, you know how modest he is...) and some short-lived success as a manager early on.

The mind boggles, but I wouldn’t at all be surprised if she gets it.
