Didn’t expect anything from him but I thought he was excellent. Always attacking and in great positions. A number of times he was unmarked in an excellent position but just wasn’t seen. He was very loud on the touch line as well and supporting team mates or shouting for the ball.

He was great today and if the ref had some bo!!ocks about him the fouls on Penny would have gotten two of their players sent off imo

Agree totally. Was involved in most of our best approach play and showed a real willingness to get up and down. Shades of Cresswell for me, while Pigott is Scowcroft mk 2!

He was the pick of our back 4 today in my view. His positioning was good, he was always on the front foot, looked to play one touch whenever possible to keep momentum going, made some good overlaps and got forward well.

I expect him to feature a lot more this season and maybe even with Coulson in ahead in the LM spot.

Couple of wobbles early on when he gave the ball away and then overran it. But improved as game went on. Got forward as much as KVY did.

Finally some people understand football.

I completely agree, thought he was very good and don’t understand people who are being critical of him today. Very promising start from him.

Him, Evans and Harper were the pick for me today!

What's with all the down votes here? I've noticed this before from this user, who also contributes nothing to the board in terms of posts or opinions.

I thought he was great until he had to make a decision, he let himself get closed down because he didn’t know where to put a cross in for example.

KVY was much more positive but up against a bloke who seemingly couldn’t get booked.

I think with time if he stays in the team he will build up more of an understanding and consistency but today it took time to come off for a lot of players.

A couple of bad balls and unfortunately one led to their second. Ok on the whole though; seemed to grow into the game
