A defeat tonight against an U21 team would suggest the problem is as bad as it appears A squad who cannot beat an U21 team is not a squad who will be challenging for a play off place.

Shut up, Harry. Or at least try to grasp that nothing’s black or white before you announce your judgement.

Alrhough I would suggest that a team of Premier League U21s probably have more talent than your average Division One team.

that rather overlooks the point that we are supposed to be a promotion winning L1 side, not an average one and we don't know the strength of the WHU side either

the score looks pretty black and white as does the fact that Cook has won only 4 completive games in half a seasons worth (23) tonight the saviour (Morsy) was there to drive us forward only one game this season have we conceded less than one goal and no games have we kept a clean sheet does any of that need a 'judgement' from me ?

Hull lost to Leicester U21s last year. Lincoln drew against Manchester City's U21s.

But that's not true. The Prem U21 teams in this competition more often that not are beaten and beaten quite convincingly by both L1 and L2 teams. It's an embarrassing result with the strength of team we had out.
