I wouldn’t say “average”, but more an indication of just how “tough” this division is . Everyone can beat everyone, and it’s who is most resilient to the physical nature of this division. If you don’t first win the “ battle”, you’ve less chance of winning the game. Pompey game first half was a typical example IMHO. | |

I see Col U finally broke the 3k attendance barrier tonight but are losing 3-1. I’d be fuming if I was a fan. They’ve always been a bit rubbish but filling most of the squad with our aging rejects feels like the laziest decision ever. |  |

It really does - lots of nonsense about the likes of Skuse and Chambers over the years, but even their biggest advocates would accept that they were well past their best. Maybe adding one of Chambers or Skuse for experience would be OK, but loading the squad with them was so obviously a bad decision. |  |

I find it hilarious that a lot of our fans put money on us to get promoted (completely fair enough) but also doubled up with Colchester to win promotion from L1 because they signed loads of our ex players--- which was a ludicrous bet and a waste of good money. | |
