Hi,
Im bringing in an older gent (80 yrs) with me for his first game of the season.
I normally meet a few of the lads at the K Bar pre match but want to do something different.
Arriving into the Train station about 130pm where is walkable (bear in mind the age) that does a decent pint pre match and wouldn't be too far to get back to the ground without rushing. Was thinking Lord Nelson but that's a decent hike out for an oldy.
Any ideas?

The Black Horse is the closest pub to the ground. Reallly old pub, 17th centrury I tihnk, last week it had Doom Bar, Pure Ubu Amber Ale and one other ale on, if that floats your boat. |  |
