I don’t remember much anger at him, it was always the managers fault according to the support. It wasn’t until as late as 2019 that there were any serious grumbles aimed at Evans which is incredible.
Evans was still attending Ipswich games prior to Ashton coming in and removing all traces of him from the club, despite being a equal owner with the others. I don’t think we’ve heard the last of Evans here. |  |
