Huge meltdown on Twitter... 17:21 - Jan 31 with 2090 viewsTresBonne

Because we haven't made any signings today, partially due to the fact people kidded themselves into thinking Matete was a done deal.

We didn't need to replace Fraser in the first place.

We signed Walton on a permenant, brought in a Premier League LB on loan and signed a midfielder who has a good chance of proving himself and then turning permenant.

Wouldn't be surprised if we needed to balance the books a little too, hence the outgoings.

Chill, people. We'll be fine.

Yeah, we're fine, we were never going to sign a player who would claw back 10 points single-handedly. We need to work on getting our existing squad going.

Should just start planning for next season, this has been a disaster, whatever his style or formation he likes he needs to start enforcing it, I don't see much difference between Lambert's tippy tappy crap at the back, and cooks crappy one up front and lack of real chances, yes we won 4 out of 6 could easily lost to Accrington and drew with Wimbledon, which would have looked far worst, probably cook esq, our biggest problem Lambert 15 games brilliant and threw it away, should have been back in the championship at that attempt,

I am very grateful for the existence of ITFC Twitter. Imagine what it'd be like if we had to accommodate those melts on here.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

That’d be nice. £150 to Hillsborough and back without a shot on target has limited patience.

Ya, I finally decided to turn off when a fan group pining for attention, with 14,500 followers, responded to Town signing a promising young keeper with a meme suggesting they unsign him and send him back to where he came from.
Hope the lad doesn't take Twitter too seriously or he'll wonder why he signed.

I think they're probably even lower down the evolutionary scale than people who phone Sport on Suffolk.

"brought in a Premier League LB"

He's played two games in the top flight. The bulk of his football has been played in this league, and it certainly looked that way on Saturday. Same with Edmondson who played most of his football with Oldham but was touted as a Championship defender, which he most definitely isn't.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the gelling yet. Did cook take it with him when he left.

Some of ours 'supporters' do come across as constantly winging on socials. Guess its case with society nowadays and all clubs have their share. I think the real reason, which these people wont understand, is to do with FFP. I believe after 1st half of season we was quite a bit over the limit. Walton I am sure is costing us more in wages than what we was paying Brighton. The players we have released / loaned weren't really around the 1st team much so has probably reduced the wages enough now. Unfortunately not being able to offload Jackson and Norwoods return to form probably changed initial plans of who was going to leave to release wages.
