Absolutely this. Get the best goalkeeper you can, assemble a decent defence and you are half way there. Any decent team has that.

My record is horrendous. Out of the last 10 away games I’ve been to we’ve only won 2 and one of those was the 5-0 against Bolton under 12s in 2019. It’s my own fault as I mostly end up going to the more difficult games.

Like a lot of our players, he's been desperately in need of some proper coaching, motivation and structure around him.

Imagine what McKenna could have done with Downes and Dozzell, for example.
