Worst decision Henry VIII ever made was making turkeys a staple of Christmas. How people can still support the monarchy, after such a blatant disregard for flavour is beyond me.
I'd much rather have a traditional British Christmas and cook a leg or shoulder of lamb, rather than having royalists erode our fine traditions. Is it any wonder the rest of Europe mock our food.
