Gove sabotaged Johnson in 2016, so Johnson is just "levelling up"

Does it even count as trolling if it's only the 'troll' who looks stupid, angry and/or upset?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

it may be a sign that boris has accepted the end is here. on any list of things to do before you resign, ring up gove and tell him what you really think of him has to be quite high up.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

He’s going nuclear! What with those that have/will resigned and now he started sacking as well he’s not going to have many left to serve with him!

Pushed before he jumped I reckon. Think Johnson knows this is the best way to get his own back on Gove. No chance to use a resignation to try and regain authority with the public.

Given 75% of backbench MPs voted against him in the confidence vote, there can't be many left willing to serve. That may get us to the point where he's unable to fulfil his mandate sooner rather than later. (supposedly the only reason he would resign.)

It serves little purpose, as the next Tory leaders will clear out this ragbag of failures, and all top ministerial posts will be 'up for grabs'

Johnson is merely cementing his position as the biggest arzhole in the country's political history

Anyone else would have twigged their cover had been blown months ago, negotiated a good deal and dot out with dignity - instead he is behaving like some chav who has barricaded himself in his own council flat
