They didn't play badly, they made a couple of mistakes. The others times they did well in tight spaces and retained possession rather than hoofing it forward.
You get worse by the day.

Absolutely. No idea what the thoughts were on davis tbh. I'd understand if leigh was injured.
Harness and Chaplin can't shield the ball like aluko and keep hold of it as well.. they need to be split. Together the ball just doesn't stick.

What I find bizarre is when we signed davis. KM talks about his directness etc... well leigh is ridiculous at getting up and down the line.. and puts in some brilliant balls into the box to. Im sure there's something about davis otherwise we wouldn't have signed him.. but leigh for me is the perfect wingback. | |

True, but when a L1 club has paid out £1m for a player he isn't going to be sitting on the bench. One thing is for sure is Leigh isn't going to simply let Davis have the jersey, based on how he played when he came on. Think they'll be pushing each other, so that can only be a good thing for us. | |

Fridge I guess rightly so looks far away from last seasons self. Wolfenden looks like he's doing his usual awkward start of the season on the the ball to becoming the best with it around Xmas time. Lol. | |

I like the way we play from the back but there is a time and place.
That time isn’t when yiu have two attackers pressing you and no passing options. Both players were guilty of trying to turn more skilful players than them, when the slightest mistake could lead to a goal.
I know you’re not a fan of Makin but he made a fair comment imo. | |

I think it comes back to KM wanting an insurance policy for Edmunson, as he isn’t 100% comfortable playing on the left. If our LCD was as comfortable as Janoi is on the right then I think we’d play Leigh rather than the more defensive minded Davis.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Davis playing LCD with Leigh as left wing back at sone stage this season. | |
