He’s a grafter. Watching him on iFollow doesn’t really do him justice. It wasn’t until I saw his off the ball mivement at Accrington than I began to appreciate what he brings to the team.

Thinking about that this morning. He tried his socks off last night and looked a little off the pace or perhaps it's my eyes and I'm sooo pleased he managed to bag one of his chances.
That said he looked a different player once TJJ and Jackson were on. Not sure whether it was the supply or what but he seemed to brighten up 10 fold. Seemed so much more confident and his levels seemed to be raised . Again maybe it's me |  |

He's had a lot of good chances, and I mean a lot, and should probably, based on those, be 5 or 6 goals to the good already this season in the league.
I like what he does, proper team player and still believe he'll be comfortably into double figures by the end of the season.

But he also has a huge amount of chances and hasn't scored in the league, there's clearly a middle ground here on him because whilst he is contributing in some ways, he isn't in others and there is a reason why we chased George Hirst and latterly Will Keane through the window
I haven't checked ratings on here, or in EADT where Ady Warren does them, but I'd imagine he is a 6 or 7 out of 10 every week, with maybe an 8 in there so needs to be doing more | |

How are Chances created stats worked out as distinct from Assists?
Ladapo pulls defences all over the place at times, and holds up the ball to create chances that may not be counted...?

It doesn't and there is an element of that, but bar Bristol Rovers at home where I thought he was very good, and as a sub away at Accrington, I can't say he's been anything more than average, and has had games where he has been poor (Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley)
I thought the conduct towards him at times was embarrassing last night, and certainly wouldn't partake in it - but think he is getting a bit of an easy ride at times as team playing well but he isn't contributing enough to make up for his lack of goals for me currently | |

He works very hard for the team, that's fine when we are winning and other players are getting the goals that he misses good chances. If the goals from other areas dry up the pressure will really be on him to score goals. I think we will be going for another striker in Jan to add to the ones we already have. |  | | |
