Our failure to sign a striker will cost us... And it is.

That and Walton, he's been terrible recently.

He's not been terrible, he's made two bad mistakes.

Given he's kept us in many matches he's got a few in the bank.

What is costing us is the rotation. Keep a regular side and they grow in confidence. Find their own way of scoring goals.. putting them in then dropping them, turns them into panic players, taking pot shots. Snapping at balls etc. No composure.

Promotion is there to be won but we've got to stop fking around.

It has really cost us. Those play-offs starting to look out of sight now. No chance of improving the team in January. Need to be looking over our shoulders at relegation.

It is like some people have learned nothing from our recent history and expect us to win every match without any wobbles.

Why do you waste your time on here, you clearly know better than McKenna so you should be off managing a club somewhere.

You're wasted on us.

Think it was fairly obvious to a lot of people that relying on Ladapo as our start No9 for the whole season was a risk. That can be mitigated by our other forwards chipping in though.

What can’t be mitigated is our defence crumbling whenever they’re put under pressure and being terrible at defending balls into the box. If anything is going to cost us this season it will be that.

I don't think Makin watches our matches very often.

If he does, it must be a different match to what I watch.

Not defending Frimmers as he does post rubbish at times but literally any other poster on this forum could have made that post and you wouldn’t have even thought about responding.

Any time I see him post, I know a post from you is very likely to follow. Just put him on ignore instead of spending your whole time getting irritated with him as it just makes you look a nob following him around the forum.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Um, he has posted rubbish in multiple threads today all through the match. It's not that post, it's a cumulative effect of all his posts during the match and that is the context of my reply. He clearly thinks he does know better and has implied it throughout the match.

GB has called him out.

Gav, the site admin, has upvoted a post calling him a "<beep> idiot".

Numerous other posters have called him out.

Glad you felt the need to have a pop at me though. I'd like to point out he's actually been banned for being abusive towards me and is only back because he begged to Phil, that's certainly not happened the other way round.

But weren't you moaning about posters piling in yet you, yes you SB do just that.

Why does it concern you what others do? Let them. I'm not here to make friends. It's a football forum. Just like all others where supporters vent their frustrations or discuss the joys of following their side.
It's full of people saying what the manager should and shouldn't do, that is football.

Don't come onto a forum during live football if you dint want to view live views on a game. It's as simple as that. You don't want to be critical of town. That's fine. But I use this forum as my place to vent any frustrations I have whilst following town.

Gav can upvote what he likes. But the truth is. Posters like me make this forums what they are. A voice to agree or disagree with. The forum would die very quickly if only positive posts were shared and no one dared to moan about elements of the club.

Are you going to repeat these words after every single 'wobble' ? People are concerned are rightly so.

We have had many wobbles, TOO MANY WOBBLES in this calendar year. When we play so called 's**t' teams at home we often struggle and it's worrying.

To get a quality striker in the January window won't be as easy as you seem to think.

I find it really surprising that there's so much shock at the levels of concern there is when we indeed threw away the league under lambert.

We are in an obvious dodgy patch.
We've lost our best creative midfielder
We have lost JJ for months
We've lost ball for season ( I don't like him but others do)
We still have no aluko
We still have no leigh
Donacien could now be out for a while.

We have lost another lead today
We lost points again to a side much lower in the table
We've let a 5 point lead to 3rd go to 1 point
We concede very few chances.. but allow goals at ease within these chances.

I personally think those playing the positive card are doing so more to try and annoy others rather than actually feeling positive. As imo there's plenty to worry about.

It’s football, what difference does it make if he’s posting rubbish? He’s not being offensive with his opinions so doesn’t need to be called out for every post he makes. If you think he’s a pillock it makes more sense to just ignore him in my opinion.

And don’t start with the “woe is me I’m being targeted again” nonsense just because I gave some advice as I’ve never done it before. I don’t see anyone else have a pop at him anywhere near the level you do and most of the others at least try and play the ball to some extent, rather than just the man.

Not sure it's our defence as such, they can't compensate for basic goalkeeping not being completed.

If it came to a point where those words were not laced heavily with sarcasm, then you would have a point.

I believe it is the second time I have posted them on here. Twice in 18 matches. Every team will slip up. Plymouth drew today.

We are second in the table and out-playing every team we face in the league (aside from a 20 minute spell against Plymouth).

Yes we are 2nd. But we've let 4 points drop to 3rd. Having let 4 points drop in 2 games alone..

Let me put the other “glass half full” opinion to balance out your “throwing away a 4 point lead to 3rd” we are still the same number of points off top place as we were at 3pm

We are 2nd in the table ....just !!!

Our sexy passing system doesn't seem to be sufficient as we keep dropping points. We are out-playing every team, so what? 32 shots against Lincoln, 29 today but this manager didn't think we needed a striker who can take the chances last summer.

If you think there is nothing to worry about then good on you. I don't want the bloody play-offs because it's a lottery.

No the argument against weaknesses seen is that there aren't any because we are 2nd.

These weaknesses have lead to us possibly... possibly dropping to 3rd after the next game.

These weaknesses that have been obvious for a while and not fixed.

Of course if we go a winning run. Excellent. And I'll post accordingly with my joy.
