If you all drive the car whilst the others are using the horse and cart, then surely being named [experienced] drivers will help?
There's a few 'young-only' insurers who claim to specialise but that's no use if the oldies are using the thing too.
All you can do is try loads of different insurers and see how they differ, including those that are not on the main comparison sites I would guess.

Congrats to your daughter. I'm sure there are people better clued up than me given my 2 can barely drive their Little Tikes Cozy Coupe without crashing into the flower bed yet, but make sure you check various different types of cover. Someone I know was getting quotes and found he was getting cheaper options to get covered fully comp than 3rd party. |  |

I dared to use the term 'Fully Comp' over the phone to some insurer earlier this year and got lectured there was no such thing and how he couldn't understand why people insisted on saying it.
I told him that "Well, that's what we always called it, so there".
Only not in those actual words but have put it as a quote anyway. I actually babbled on about it for some time and bored him senseless to make him pay for daring to question one so senior to his years. | |

We got a Black Box policy which didn't have a curfew of anything. It payed out a bonus if you drove well and didn't penalise you for driving badly. They are worth considering. |  | | |

I don't really understand why it's more expensive to have multiple people on a policy. I understand it would go up if you add someone higher risk, but all things being equal why does it go up just by having more than 1 person? Only 1 of them will be driving it at any moment in time. | |

a few years ago , when son passed his test the mrs put him on her insurance as a named driver. this was with the coop the named all drivers on that policy got the no claim ,so after a few years we told the coop mrs was selling car to son and he had 5 years no claim against his name.so he insured with them for a year after that he shopped around |  |

Friend of mine is having dreadful trouble with the box in his daughter's car. Regularly stops working, and the insurance company keep threatening to cancel the policy.
They're basically refusing to replace a clearly faulty box. |  |

The company one of my daughters is insured with is called Carrot. But don't go direct. Go through a comparison site. It's cheaper. | |

Sooo....just finished brushing down the horses!
Junior is already off scoring some drugs and off to the pub to celebrate. Had to give in to the man's black box (speed only). Adrian Flux came in at £1,450 which is a whole world of washing up! May have to sell one of the horses so half speed for me for the foreseeable.

I drove Youngest Offspring's car to / from a garage, a drive which included a 10 mile motorway run each way, took it up to 80 before remembering and reigning it back. |  |
