He was excellent throughout, even the first half, he misplaced a couple of passes but was a constant nuisance to Wales. Unfortunately he just seems to have a bit of a target on his back for some people.

Yeah agreed, wasn’t really working for him on the left, some loose touches and looked frustrated. Was more effective 2nd half when switched to the right and a hell of a free kick to be fair to him.

We were playing a very average opposition though. Tougher tests to come but we’ve got the job done, on to the weekend.

I think you're being generous on the first half performance but the second half showed what he's more than capable of.

I prefer him starting to Sterling.
