| Has the Reims manager situation been discussed? 13:38 - Feb 3 with 3310 views | homer_123 | Youngest manager in the European top flight for Reims, with Reims being fined £22k each time he takes charge? Will Still English/ Belgium manager. He's still studying for his UEFA Pro Licence and therefore is 'technically' not allowed to manage a club in the top flight but Reims having none of it as they are on a cracking run within him leading the club. As an aside, he's not without a lot of experience as an assistant and also manager. Lots of links to the likes of the Fail and Shun but I won't link them here. Love it! [Post edited 3 Feb 2023 13:44]

Even a cursory look into him seems to suggest something very strange going on. The guy buying them (Sarbjot Johal) apparently is the chairman of Sarb Capital Here is their amazing website: http://sarbcapital.com/ Rivetting stuff. What about their LinkedIn? https://www.linkedin.com/compa Notice the link name there vs. what the page says. If we actually look for Sarb Capital on companies house, we can find a fairly new company with only one filling. https://find-and-update.compan If we look up Vitanic Limited, we actually come up with two companies. In one, he is a director (Vitanic Holdings) which again has only one filling and little else. https://find-and-update.compan Another (Vitanic Limited) also have him listed as a Director, and this one at least has some history to look at: https://find-and-update.compan The recent accounts don't fill me with confidence.

Sounds a bit like when Notts County got taken over and were the richest club in the EFL or something and it turned out to be some conmen or something ... details a little sketchy.

You'd hope so. What's fairly amazing to me is how multiple media companies just repeated the "tycoon" story without even a cursory look at this person's credentials. Seems others have very similar questions and have dug deeper than my 15 minutes of Googling. https://threadreaderapp.com/th And of course, they're trying to do an incredibly dodgy crypto scheme. Unfortunately, the website link was taken down but they were offering 35% returns weekly. https://threadreaderapp.com/th
