A clean sheet, a big boost to the GD again and pretty much every result helping us out for the first time in months. Even more reason to slap MKWrongs next week for letting a lead slip so many times too.

I missed the first goal due to traffic issues, but it looked great. Broadhead's was really enjoyable though, a really sweet finish.

Think we can get massively carried away now the win has come, regardless of "yeah, but" type limitations on it being FGR etc.

My main source of comfort is that Luongo looks like he just needs minutes. The class was there but the rustiness as he gave away a few passes suggests he won't take too long and ease the burden on CM.

As for Freddie, what a man. Scores one then shows them some mercy but putting another one past the post just cos he could. Definitely.

Apart from Walton thinking he was Janner Luis Chilavert in the second half, that was about as decent as you can hope from a team on fragile ground with the fanbase I thought.

Lovely stuff. Uppa Towen. Moaners Dowen.

Ah, Janner Luis Chilavert. Cornwall's greatest ever goalkeeper.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Hopefully a bit of a palate cleanser and a reset. Next step is to regularly win tighter games again. Plymouth's result the tiniest if encouragements but, putting our fixtures side by side, if we can win the next three you'd think we claw a bit more back. Weird things can happen so let's hope this kicks us on.

Every result helping us out? What?!? Haha

Derby won, Barnsley won, sheff wed won.

Plymouth only drew OK but a loss would be better. Bolton lost, I'll give you that haha

Much better performance, more intensity, better tempo, much more direct in terms of getting the ball back to front way quicker. Broadhead and Chaplin have serious talent at this level and caused FGR no end of problems.

Brings up the 60 point mark with 42 left to play for. Can’t help but feel we would need too many of those 42 to close an 8 point gap to Plymouth, but little value in worrying about that right now. 1 game at a time and hopefully we can take the confidence from today into this nice looking little run of 3 games. Week to prep for MK, let’s take the 3 points, get some momentum going and get that top 2 looking over their shoulders.

Good result, good crowd. Well done KM and the players. Without tempting fate, which I don’t believe in any more than I do luck, fingers and toes crossed that we can get a win next week and start to build a little momentum.

Think the South West branch will be blacklisting you I'm afraid.

It's been pretty miserable and frustrating on here, twitter and at games bar Burnley (which had it been broadcast might have tempered that) so I don't care if we just gave a kicking to anyone as long as it puts us back on track.

I do feel like the new signings looked a bit better today too so hopefully that continues. A lot can happen in 8 weeks or so, and that Charlton to last Tuesday period people have been picking to death shows what can happen to a team/fans when they only see difficulties ahead.

The manner in which Wednesday came back suggests they won't falter so it's all on Plymouth imploding if we make top 2. However, I don't really fear the playoffs atm as they're so far away.

Yeah agree with that. 14 games is a long time, if we could get with 4 or 5 points with 8 or 9 games to play then who knows. At the moment I’m enjoying watching performances like today, perhaps I’m a little less expectant than the average fan but it’s all about the journey. If we can’t enjoy being 3rd and slapping teams 4-0 then what’s the point. We all want promotion, let’s hope we achieve it, but have to enjoy the highs along the way. It’s and buts but 3 points at MK Dons and it would be 6 unbeaten in the league with a yield of 12 points or 2ppg. Including 2 Four-Nil home wins. Certainly not as doom and gloom as you would be forgiven for thinking looking on here.

Next 4 games are crucial, if we are only 3-4 behind with 10 to play I think we will overhaul Plymouth. Our goal difference is so much better we only have to catch them, not overhaul.

Yeah, we gained 2 points today so it doesn’t take too many more weeks like that before we’re in touching distance. All we can control is what we do though, today was a lot better against admittedly limited opposition. Thought we had a lot of goal threat, scored 4, missed a sitter, hit the post and bar, another couple of efforts that stung the keepers hands. 6 wouldn’t have flattered us and limited them to not a single shot on target. They were poor, but can only beat who you’re playing. MK will offer more but again it’s the sort of game we need to be converting 1 point into 3. Week to get ready for them now and have to come home from there with 3 points.
