Here's hoping they spend a number of years in the wilderness.

Thrown a massive amount of money around for very little. Some of the fees they have paid are laughable.

I like Lukaku and think he's decent but to pay £97m for him and then loan him out is insane.

Truly impaired.

For the hundreds of millions they’ve spent they are incredibly average. And dull. Zero threat in front of goal. Potter won’t last the season.

Potters best bet is to walk away now. These players are clearly a load of overpaid mercenaries that won't put the shift in required. He's being embarrassed by them week after week.

The owner has expressed confidence in Potter - as he should as he appointed him. So he’ll probably be kicked out before the end of the season. They’re not looking like they’re going anywhere.

I hadn’t thought about it but you are right, they are incredibly dull.

Spending £500m and still not having a good striker is laughable. Enzo Fernandez for £105m off the back of half a season in the Portuguese League and a decent World Cup is the worst individual transfer though.

Can see him gone within a week or so. Chelsea are a club who could do with a stint bouncing between the Championship and the lower orders. Hopefully they decline back to that soon enough.

We'd prefer them to avoid the Championship while we are there though please

Couldn't happen to a nicer club and set of fans.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
