Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc
Casillero del Diablo Chardonnay

£7.50 a bottle from Supermarkets but usually discounted to £6.50.
Good on their own but also good with cheese.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Who ever heard of a favourite cheese question on a football board. It will never catch on 🤣

Baked Camembert for me, and an ice cold Reisling.

Can't go wrong with a decent cheddar, brie, stilton and I suppose there has to be Wensleydale (often with fruit in, yurgh).

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

That’s not urgent. You’re 2 days out, so plenty of time to find yourself some Pule to go with a few ritz crackers. You just have to get to Serbia and milk a Balkan donkey!

Proper Red Leicester, not the orange plastic from the supermarket but the crumbly mature stuff. Sparkenhoe or Thomas Hoe Stevenson Aged if you can find it.

Actually, Aldi do a good selection of gluggable wines at a decent price. Usually from S Africa, Chile and places like that - all good.

You can’t go too far wrong with a good strong cheddar, Brie, proper Red Leicester and maybe some blue cheese. Your standard box of mixed crackers is ok (Jacobs and the equivalents) for the job.

For a laugh I’d be tempted to put out some Dairylea out of its wrappers passing it off as say a Bulgarian speciality and see if there are any takers.
