so far you have to say

This is kind of what I expected from Wycombe but we managed to unlock them and then the flood gates opened up

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

They have played very well. Still quite confident we can score 2-3 in second half.

Truly impaired.

We've been ponderous

We've had to be largely. 11 men behind the ball. Playing on the break, and for attacking throws or set pieces.

But the main difference tonight is we've been sloppy with our medium and long passes and we are hardly winning any 2nd balls at all for large portions of the game.

Yes they have been very hard to break down and our passing is off. A dangerous combination.

I’ve just speed watched it back in about 10 mins and they look pretty comfortable and are dealing with us easily so far. That’s pretty much the perfect half for them. Just before they scored it looked as though space was starting to open up for us, so hopefully that’s going to play to our strengths. In hindsight Hirst’s physicality may have been better for this one - their CB hasn’t had to work hard to keep Freddie very quiet (not that he’s getting service, but he’s also not causing them problems).

It's been a very poor performance but you have to credit Port Vale for nailing their gameplan

Perhaps we have underestimated them a bit, I don't know, It does look like they have isolated Ladapo and generally snuffed more of our obvious threats

They are defending like dogs. But they're working hard to do it.... Maybe a few cracks as they tire...

And judging by recent games possibly getting someone sent off. Let’s fun at them and draw some challenges.

This reminds me of early Jan games when we lacked intensity at the start (understandable with such a short gap from sat).

Let’s see what KMac has up his sleeve.

Much as I was pleased to see Freddie getting a deserved start, this is probably a game for Hirst now. More suited to a tangle in the box.
