With that said, I still can't see him getting into the side, due to our strength there. Will be super interested to see if he can break into the team.

Continuing his education with them wouldn’t be the worst thing, as he’s unlikely to get any minutes here next season.

As EG says, loan him to Orient again and see how he progresses in League one. Also give Humphreys a season long League one loan.

He's done absolutely everything he can to prove himself to McKenna this season, but there's zero possibility of him getting a chance in the Championship, it's just too big a step up. Still, he's enhanced his CV no end and will be very attractive to a lot of League One clubs, maybe even some of the bigger ones. Will be fascinating to see what McKenna and Ashton decide to do with him - another League One loan, or cash in now while he's hot property and get a good fee with sell ons? Can see arguments for both.

I think giving him a new contract and another year at Orient is the best way forward. Our midfield pairing are both the wrong side of 30 so to let him leave permanently when he could be a ready made replacement in a year or two's time would be strange.

This might sound utterly insane on my behalf, but I’m not 100% sold on Morsy and Mass as our starting championship CMs… I don’t know why, can’t really explain it. I think Ball will be massive for us next season, as too Camera (that driving forward from CM)
