All day long. I treat Norwich as just another opponent to beat. The days of obsessing about them are long gone

A very logical approach but I would be very disappointed not to have taken the chance to shut them up for a while

Yes, of course. They're not worth sacrificing promotion for.

If the planet was about to be completely destroyed, would you -

1. Compile more pointless scenario's.
2. Attempt to do something useful.
3. Even care.

Yes I am bored too, want to see magnificent signings, but this doesn't help.

What would be the point of attempting to do something useful if the planet (presumably the planet you are thinking of is Earth) is about to be completely destroyed ? Would it make any difference if the Earth was only partially destroyed (please supply percentage of partial destruction) ?

IIRC 99/00 Roberts helped to a great day out at Wembley "thanks" to his 2 goals at PR, so, yeah they can have 6 points as long as we go up (& I'd not be unhappy if they joined us for a season).

God that was a depressing game. We got what we deserved from that. Zippo. And didn’t Roberts just love it. Can’t say I blame him to be fair.

I’d stomach any result against them if it meant promotion. Mind you, doing the double and getting promotion would be good!!! Ahh, dreams….

Agree, unless of course the points they gained against us meant they avoided relegation.

Obviously. We only took one point off them in 99/00 and I didn't give those two results one solitary thought when I was watching Matt Holland lift that trophy.

So the ideal scenario is that we lose to them home and away but those are the only points they get all season...because they are focusing on the cups. Unfortunately for them we beat them in the finals of both the League and the FA Cup to give us a unique treble. I guess that would be just about acceptable.

I don't claim to be intellectually smart either, but i do know that having spent years following my club, the notion that some supporters would chose to beat Norwich, rather than gain promotion to the premiership is beyond stupid, almost insulting.

No, I'd rather beat Norwich twice and finish table.

Come on, are you even trying? What a stupid question. Of course I f king would

Incredibly enough, the OP was actually funnier when he was wanging on about Piggott.

Although, I should pint out that 'funnier' is very much a relative term here.

To me it's a bit like saying if I put a tenner on two horses and they both lost, would I rather have £100 on one that won. Of course I'd take two defeats to the Budgies if we gained promotion. Better still if we won promotion and beat them twice on the way that would as they say be the icing on Delia's cake.
