Yep.
His voice is still the same and just as strong.
Quite a lot of the other aging performers can't claim that eg. Axl rose

No encore?
He didn't do Longer Boats.
Maybe that's the encore but they've decided Raye from yesterday fits better under the title 'Sunday live from Glastonbury'.

One of the best British singer/songwriters. I'll have a watch on I-player.

I saw him in Liverpool in 2010. I think it was his first tour since his conversion in 1978.

A magical evening.

Really enjoyed it, although Morning has Broken brought back some painful memories of early 70s school assemblies. Thank gawd no-one broke out the recorders and glockenspiels.

I know what you mean about that song in school but Cat Steven's version is a thing of magnificence and beauty.

Interestingly (or not), the lyrics to the song are set to a Gaelic tune named, and derived from, Bunessan, a village on the Isle of Mull which is close to Iona and where some of my ancestors hailed from. That probably makes Cat Steven's version even more poignant for me.

Isle of Mull?? I dunno, flippin foreigners cluttering up the country! ……

Cat Stevens is an odd one. I was never into his stuff yet Tea for the Tillerman is one of my favourite albums. The album cover is A1 too.

I thought he was excellent.
