On Thursdays QT this cretin claimed that as Dale Vince was donating to Labour and Just Stop Oil ..... JSO are funding Labour.
It got worse, he then misrepresented another panellists words that were to the effect that 'no matter your bank balance you will be treated by the NHS - to 'your bank balance determines what treatment you get'.
Next he claimed the Tories introduced the minimum wage. Something they actually strongly opposed. As they did with the NHS. The former they said would cause massive job losses. Whereas it mostly shifted the pay from state subsidies to the employer, for lower paid workers.
I have heard all manner of ridiculous old bollox from brexiteers. From the EU appointing UK judges and sentencing, to all EU decisions are made by the German and French (governments) who hate us, but this was above that level of ignorance.
I can only surmise he was pssed, as this was one of the most bizarrre appearances I have seen in a long while, see for yourself.

In this case, it is farmers facing up to the loss of workers caused by their incredible stupidity. They have yet to see the consequences of the AUS/NZ trade deal. Described by the above as "not actually a very good deal”.
While the clueless gutbucket claimed those two deals were “global Britain at its best”, the NFU who I suspect know a good deal more about this than the bloated bullstter stated "for sensitive sectors like beef and lamb, dairy and horticulture, in time, there will be no limit to the number of goods Australia and New Zealand can export to the UK. In addition, there appears to be little in those trade deals to benefit British farmers."
This was known well before the referendim. For the UK to get a better deal, would mean the other signature, would have to accept worse terms than it has now (think two poker players - one wins, the other looses). That is why out of 72 deals since brexit 69 have retained EU schedules (rules). Meanwhile -

"UK meat and fish exports to the EU have slumped by almost half since Brexit, new analysis of trade figures has revealed."
EU producers who stepped in to replace UK exports, have also recruited those EU workers, so it will take an awful lot to recover that lost trade. Probably more than just a few more visas.
Still, at least J Mercer MP is not facing such problems. Unless he is daft enough to believe the Brexit lie about their being an EU army by 2021.

Someone who gives evidence to the thought that in the main Tory MPs and their party members are mostly sleazy types who are in Parliament for what they can get, or people who see no wrong in this.
Anyone with an ounce of principle would not go near them. The next GE cannot come w=quick enough, so as to rid the country of this 'fagins kitchen' of frauds, liars and serial incompetents.
They have not changed since the days they fought against the NHS, leading to Nye Bevan stating
