Sam Morsy on 4 yellow cards 15:26 - Sep 18 with 3170 views | Lion | I think after 5 that's a 1 game ban, right? But he was very unlucky to get booked at Sheff Wed with a nothing 'supposed push' ( which i'm not even sure he done ) a point i think he made to the ref after he got scythed down by a Wednesday player on Saturday who also got the same punishment for a much more vicious tackle. I've read the odd comment by people actually moaning about him picking up yellows too easy, and maybe that is because, like me, they don't want to be without him, but surely we wouldn't want him to change how he plays, would we? Even though it wasn't his best game Saturday he was still the heartbeat. Love him! Yours faithfully Sam Morsy fan club. [Post edited 18 Sep 2023 15:27]

Sam Morsy on 4 yellow cards on 16:53 - Sep 18 with 3010 views | ChampionsofInnsbruck | We have Humphries and Evans who can play in the middle, different players, but should push comes to shove and he does get suspended either of those should be able to come into the side. Humphries from an attacking perspective is a very good player and I would love to see him get some proper game time in the Championship.

Think Taylor might have something to say about that, there’s Ball too.

Taylor and Ball are surely miles ahead of Evans in terms of who will replace Morsy.

Yeah it was a definite yellow on Saturday and a part of me thought it could've been worse. There was no need for the arm up like that
Sam Morsy on 4 yellow cards on 20:01 - Sep 18 with 2683 views | JackNorthStand | Id rather Morsy play at full throttle and get a couple of one match bans a season than to play without his “ edge”. I seem to recall last season he was on 4 yellows and for a few games seemed like he was playing “ within “ himself.

TBF mate i didn't see him do that from my angle. Silly Sam! Still love him though, will do well to get through Southampton game without a booking so we could be without him for Blackburn game. Would be Jack Taylor's chance to lay down a marker.

Not sure USA, could be 19 games or something like that.

This one. Prior to his arrival we had had a few 'nice' players in that area and our opponents largely liked it. These days is so good and refreshing to see a proper skipper in Morsy whom like the rest of the team work his socks off for the club. This team is a positive payback for the years of pain we had.

I thought at the time it was a bit naughty and as its him no chance of getting away with it , unlike a Sheffield player second half as i remember thinking that was worse than Sam's !

Didn't really look like that from my angle, he put his body in front of the player to win/shield the ball and the player went to ground grabbing his face. SM was furious that he was booked! Might have been a foul but wouldn't have been a booking but for the reaction.

Looked like nothing at the time but did look worse on the replays. Darren Ambrose thought he should have been sent off.

How gutting would it be to lose him for the Norwich game?
| Trust the process. Trust Phil. |

Chances of him still being on 4 yellows when we play Norwich are very slim. He might however be approaching 10, or get a red excluding him from the game.

Just watched it again and don't really see it any differently, may have caught him with his arm inadvertently but nothing like the reaction.

Ball is the like for like replacement. Or Taylor, if KM wants to go more attcking and leave Mas to hold teh midfield.

Well we will have to agree to disagree! Interesting to hear Darren Ambrose take on it though .
