Just thought George was a better match up tonight.

He's just ridiculously clever and thinks things through like nothing I have ever seen from a football manager. To drop your best performing CB this season to bring in a lad who hasn't played much football of late, just cos you knew he'd be a better fit and to be absolutely spot on with it. Insanity, we are so lucky

Indeed, so many times I’ve looked at the lineup and thought “that’s a strange move”, can’t think of many (if any) times he’s called it wrong.

Fridge was excellent tonight. Showed a bit of pace and mobility, that Burgess probably lacks.. Good call from KM.

Connolly has that turn of pace that may have troubled Burgess. But a brave decision to bench one of our best players. McKenna seems to know what he’s doing!

I suspect McKenna’s learnt quite a lot from us all on here. That’s my take on it anyway.

Huge vote of confidence for edmundson. I think is what makes mckenna exceptional. Tactically great, improving individuals technically great, but his management of individuals who are not in the team is blowing my mind. To get them to a point where they come in cold and play to such a high level without disrupting anything is amazing. This is what is making me start to believe we're going up this year. Against sunderland we came away thinking "our first 11 is decent, let's hope no-one gets injured". Now we're thinking "we can smash top half teams without burgess and broadhead - even our reserves are top half championship". Soon we'll be thinking "what is our best 11?"

Poll: Which would you accept?
