Holiday conscience 12:14 - Dec 7 with 1375 views | Bucklebury_blue | My wife has booked us a holiday in the Canaries. Is it disloyal to ITFC if I go?
Holiday conscience on 12:18 - Dec 7 with 1333 views | itfcjoe | Yes, this is why I'm going to Madeira in a few weeks as couldn't go to the C*naries

Holiday conscience on 12:52 - Dec 7 with 1244 views | Plums | Some colleagues once named our meeting rooms as the Canaries, Bahamas etc. Being a grown up, bigger man, I swiftly revised the former to 'Balearics'. It's not disloyal to go but you need to recognise the harm caused.

Holiday conscience on 12:53 - Dec 7 with 1238 views | Stewart27 | I’ve been to the canaries. The similarities are very similar to Norwich. The late night “adult erotic show” was performed by a brother and sister act. I also got given a certificate for just participating in a 90s song competition. Steer clear.

I wonder how many mainland Spaniards or other Latin types end up sunning themselves for a couple of weeks in Millwall?

O/T but Madeira is great. If you've not been before, I highly recommend trying the "Banana Fish" as I call it - Yes, fish and banana.... Black Scabbard, deep fried with Banana and a passion fruit sauce.... https://blog.madeira.best/madeira-black-scabbard-fish. No idea how, but it works. (And obviosuly do the Toboggan whislt you are there)

Madeira is really pleasant, but falls well short of Tenerife etc as a winter sun destination. I have spent most of the last 2 winters in Tenerife & I think there was one day when it was too cold to walk around in t shirt and shorts.

Holiday conscience on 16:23 - Dec 7 with 796 views | ArnoldMoorhen | Not disloyal at all. If you spend a week there you will have several opportunities to "sh1t on the Canaries!" If you time it right, travel across the island, or even.an excursion to other islands, and take a toilet break in different towns and villages, then you will be able to "sh1t all over the Canaries!" So to ease your conscience, all you'll have to do is ease your bowels.

Oh dear, that’s me destined for disloyalty-central. I’m off to Gran Canaria next September (hangs head in shame). Should have chosen Madeira, which I adore anyway.

Gran Canaria, oddly enough, is not the largest of the Canary Islands.
