Spurs comments are par for the course - they’re not going to discourage one of thier players but truth surely is that he hasn’t had the game time here they would have hoped. I suspect McKenna has told them that he plans to bring in another forward to challenge Hirst for a starting place and that Scarlet will get even less game time. | |

Stansfield can play as a 10 as well; wouldn't count towards squad numbers if we sign him on a perm as he was only 20 at the start for the year, so with Scarlett being recalled we would still have room for an out-and-out No.9 and not have to lose any more players from the squad. |  |
