Remember the days on here that some used to pine to be them (Derby) and now they’re more insignificant to us than ever

I'm half watching this, and the difference in quality from what we now see week in, week out, in the Championship is pretty significant isn't it?

So refreshing watching games with both teams having a real go, and with genuine quality on display, after a few years of watching the likes of Burton try and grind out a draw.

Derby have just scored, but a proper route one basics goal.

How long before some on here are calling for us to sign Hugill?
Great start for the lad though!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

He’s got the Utd McKenna connection so he’s as good as signed. Took his goal well to be fair.

There's none of that playing it out from the back nonsense. Gerrit up there!

Mixed feelings on it. I'm kind of relishing the prospect of Pompey's promotion campaign going totally tits up. Don't like Bolton or Peterborough particularly either.
If only Barnsley and Oxford were more consistent.

Looked decent enough. Clearly likes to get forward.
Had a busy first half as Derby were on top.

Pompey are interesting; one of their local journos on Twitter after their defeat at weekend described their season as “hitting a new low.” Weird take for a team top the league!

It was frimmers last year telling us all how they’d caught up with us and were going to overtake us.

Not even sure we could see them in the rear view mirror at the end of the season!

They've thrown away a good lead at te top though. Won only one inn the last five, with three of those being defeats.

They had got the gap reduced at the time yes.

Thankfully however we spent alot in Jan and got ourselves winning games again. And they fked up like they've done for past few years. Happy days.

Thanks for the name drop :)
