Leicester should be punished like Everton and Forest might be, but they won't be because they're in a different league

Basically Leicester's relegation has stopped the club being investigated for breaking ffp loss rules. The same rules that are affecting forest and Everton for the same period. Because of two different bodies who monitor/regulate them they might not be investigated till next year if /when back in the prem.
Have Leicester dodged a bullet? on 14:50 - Mar 4 with 2961 views | Kievthegreat | So the potential timeline is: Leicester break FFP in PL but get relegated. EFL don't punish because their rules aren't broken yet. PL can't because wrong league now. Leicester break FFP again, but get promoted. EFL don't punish because they are no longer in EFL, PL might punish, but only if they broke FFP when getting relegated, ignoring the promotion season?

Have Leicester dodged a bullet? on 15:44 - Mar 4 with 2591 views | OldFart71 | Not sure I want Town to win anything by default. If they won the League as a promoted team from Division One what a fantastic achievement against the parachute three. In truth something needs to be done to even up things. Not saying there shouldn't be parachute payments as if Town had received them when last in the Prem they may have not gone into administration. Football in reality will never be fair, just as real life isn't where you have the have's and have not's. But the Prem is top heavy with rewards against the rest of the Leagues.

It's almost like everything that involves humans and large sums of money ends up being corrupt.

In the words of everyone in history: "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Bung me enough cash and I'm in too."

Good time to be in the Premier League though, if Leicester start on -10. [Post edited 4 Mar 16:58]

Leicester also breached FFP regulations when they won promotion to the PL in 2013-14, under the same Thai owners. As the Football League couldn't touch them while they were in the PL, nothing happened until Leicester settled with the Football League for a paltry £3.1m in 2018. Another great triumph for FFP!

So put it another way you are happy to see a corrupt outcome.

Not necessarily. I take this to mean that Ipswich win fair and square through their footballing ability because Leicester receive a massive financial penalty rather than a points deduction.
