Funny how my online bookie offered free £1 if England won. I'll do a Kevin Keagan and say |I would absolutely lovvit if the bookies get caned. To my mind, having been a punter since before it was legal for me I honestly believe the bookies have far too much in their favour now. It was always claimed they had information coming out of stables. As for this 1/5th the odds crap for the first 5 or 6 it was far better first 4 1/4 odds 16 runners or more in a handicap. As for these rule 4's where a non runner means a deduction of so much in the pound well that's another farce also. Take a price a couple of day's before a race. Say 10/1, a horse get's withdrawn, there's a rule 4 deduction, but your horse goes out in the betting to 12/1. You don't get the 12's and get a deduction on your 10's. In my opinion a deduction should only take place if the odds of a horse is less due to the none runner. | | | |
