But is it me or are the bbc failing to provide a proper clear website listing? Loads of channels showing different stuff. I just want a list of whats on now so I can pick. Have I missed it somewhere?
I do need to pay closer attention to PJ Harvey. Have thought that for decades but never taken the plunge until last week when I bought an LP on a whim. Enjoyed her little sing song.
I turned it on a few minutes ago and there were a bunch of wannabe Eminem chavs prancing around. Turned it off sharpish and am now watching s sh*t teenager American series with my youngest

Odd, in this day and age, you cant see a list of what specifically is on now on each stage and click. But I spose that occasionally leaves you with stuff you didn't look for, which is nice.

Whilst I am mostly dismissive of the "its crap now, all pop stars" narrative. The thing is massive and covers almost everything, which is great.

No. It's real pop music that appeals to the teenagers of 2024 just as Girls Aloud appealed to the teenagers od the 2000's, One Direction appealed to the teenagers of the 2010's, Take That appealed to teenagers of the 1990's and Wham appealed to the teenagers of the 1980's.
All music has its place. Not my cup of tea but 60 year olds in 2075 will be requesting New Rules' at weddings just as 60 year olds are requesting ABBA at weddings today.

I'm guessing it's rights issues to the music. Which is understandable to an extent but yeah it makes it a complete pita to find the bands/singers you want to watch

Jo Whiley annoys the hell out of me. This year she lost her voice but is still presenting. Step aside, Jo and let someone else present the BBC coverage who can speak properly. Some BBC boss should have ordered her to go home. It's her constant namedropping and telling us she's heard more exclusive songs than you. Give it a rest, Jo, you're not 16 anymore.

I will never forgive her for saying, on the strenght of one debut album released that year, that Macie Gray had to be in the conversation for best female artist ever.
