Muric. A worry. Or not really? 17:32 - Sep 8 with 7143 viewsFrimleyBlue

I like the stats that come with Muric and it can't be forgotten that until Burnley got Trafford. Muric was their number 1 and they called upon him towards the end of season last year too.

But for a club that the last two seasons has been built on togetherness, working for each other and pretty much 0 issues, it's slightly concerning that our number 1 in the space of a month has come with injury, mistake galore ( man city) and then we hear of him being thrown out of his national team.

It's pretty much the only negative really in everything we've done bar not getting a third striker.. but does anyone have more knowledge on Muric on here as to what we've yet to see and why this sort of thing shouldn't be concerning for a side so set up on certain characteristics..

Depends whether whatever he is supposed to have done is something which would be a problem for ITFC and McKenna.

What if it was, say, refusing to go along with a particular sponsorship he doesn't agree with?

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

"mistakes galore".

FFS, he had a bad 20 minutes against Man City, when our whole team made a lot of mistakes, otherwise he played OK there, and was decent against Fulham.

And he had an injury that put him out of action for a few days.

Talk about being desperate to find negatives.

I'd be behind his view on that personally.

If it's however the rumoured going out on the pss then perhaps not. (If)

Even then, the rules may be different at Ipswich and thus what is a problem for Kosovo is not at Town.

Looks like Muric is gonna be this season's Wes Burns for Frimmers.

C'mon you went a bit overboard last season there. And this Muric post is a bit of a soggy diaper too. He's got into a bit of bother with his national team. So did Roy Keane. Didn't affect his club performances. Also, has it passed your attention Muric is a contender for Save of the Month? Why you always have to find negatives?

We all know about what happened last season. Its done. Forgotten by those involved.

I commented on that save at the time and in other posts. I've also posted the OP in what I thought was a balanced way by bringing up his positive stats as a Burnley keeper and to show why we no doubt brought him because of those stats.

But don't worry forgot. Can't ask anything.

I didn't think it was ott to tbh. Altho reading it back maybe the galore bit didn't help.

But it's just a true reflection on what we've had so far isn't it?

We don't know why this time he's been thrown out of the national team but it his third time now I believe.

Any other season it wouldn't really concern me. I've said in previous seasons that KM hadn't really had anyone players that came with baggage... but in our first prem season you kinda just want all thoughts in one place without any background drama.

In reality he's played 2 games for us. Give the guy a chance. City was first appearance. He was facing the likes of Haaland who scores a hattrick just about every game. Not an easy debut for anyone. I think it's a bit premature to be judging him. As for what goes on with his national team, don't care as long as there's no issues at the club with him.

To be fair in Friday night’s game he was pretty poor…

We've got a really good second choice keeper, and the number 3 choice isn't bad either.

If he isn't so good we pick one of the alternatives instead. Happens some times, but its a bit early to tell....

It's not a national team. It's only recognised by 104 states.

Too early to say especially when the first two games were Liverpool and City.

I do think he's looked a bit indecisive with his decision making. But I think that's to be expected to some degree given the amount of new players.

Our league performance trajectory is going in the right direction. We looked more than capable against Fulham. Brighton will be an interesting one as they're a very well coached unit.
