That depends if it's out of necessity if, for instance, said player wasn't keen on signing a new long-term deal...

If Davis is looking to move on. I hope he signs a new deal with the agreement of being sold so that we make some money from him leaving.

To lose him on a free would be painful.

I’d rather keep Davis. My Chelsea supporting mate reckons Chilwell spends most of his time shining his rear end on the treatment table at £200k per week. Just what we don’t need.

Anyhow, after Chelsea tried to pull a fast one with Broja, why on earth would we want to deal with them?
