FWIW I’m disappointed not to see him play yet this season. Was hoping we were just getting him fully fit but doesn’t seem to be the case. Sure he will get his chance and he deserves to although theres rumours he’s been told he can go in January, something has gone on there hasn’t it? Maybe we see him as too injury prone? |  |

Seems odd doesn't it. Definitely get the feeling something has happened. Fully agree about him getting his chance. He was huge part of journey here.

I just think players who aren't playing should be patient. Burgess and Chaplin seemed bang out of favour a couple of weeks ago, now playing again and doing OK, or better than OK in Chaplin's case.
It's a long season and everyone will get a chance. |  |

I think he has ability, but doesnt really do the defensive work any more than Clarke does. Smodicz greater physicality and work rate looks important atm. Especially if chappers and hutch play- we would have no physicality at all across that line. |  | | |

He is. But we've just brought Clarke who's the same and Is one we want to improve and cash in on in future.
Hopefully at some point broady gets a chance as he's one who got us up.. but he may have to wait a little while. | |

I think it'll be his fitness record that lets him down. His physicality is almost certainly the weakest part of his game, which is tough when entering a league where peak physicality is a necessity.

Absolutely, feel his injuries have overshadowed what is a really good record / return here. He played a huge part in getting us where we are now and deserves a chance.

Considering szmodics has played well. Scored v man city and has helped Davis to be the player he can be, she's mad if she thinks broady can run as much as Sammy does. He couldn't in the two leagues below let alone the prem. | |

Broady needs to be integrated nicely back to the core. Super talent.
Subsidise that with the fact Clarke looks a long way off right now, if you’d spent £15m+ on a player you’d expect a significant upgrade, but hasn’t looked anything like an upgrade on the £1.5m Broadhead.

Clarke wins us quite a few free kicks in dangerous areas. Probably our most fouled player per minutes on the pitch.
I don’t think Clarke would have come on Saturday if McKenna had a crystal ball and knew we’d be down to ten men just a few minutes later.
He was the ideal player to come on at 1-0 with eleven men and dominating the game. | |
