It’s Windy as- I’m in flats by station and my 10 x 4 foot pergola on balcony literally just lifted off floor for 2 seconds by a 8 inches before slamming back down to earth 2 seconds later . Perfect weather for high balls which isn’t our game but nightmare for defenders especially against Delap as one gust of wind blowing it behind them and you have a break away. Not weather for high press at all | | | |

Waltham & Hersham v Gloucester yesterday was some game apparently. 4-0 at half-time, 4-4 at the end, all goals scored with the wind including a corner that went straight in and the keeper smashing the ball into his own net from 5 yards.

We certainly need everything to go perfectly for us and Man U to have a few players not quite on it. It’s easy to get carried away about our chances after the positivity since Spurs, but the gap’s still as big as it was. They have some top players. If they all turn up we’ll have a tough afternoon. |  |
