We have been very unfortunate with injuries, but we need to accept that we don’t have the squad depth needed to stay competitive in our preferred formation, adjustments are needed and given our position, trying to make yourself harder to beat for a couple of very tough games, really isn’t likely to be a problem for most fans, or the owners. | | | |

That may be the case but you could say the same against Newcastle last weekend, they got the vat decision, they got the 3rd goal via a slip up, they were at their maximum and we were at our minimum.
No-one is saying it is going to be easy, but we have to go there as a club, on and off the field,
With the mindset that we are going for the win.
It is just a 90 minute game of football, and having a greater desire to win gives us a decent chance of getting something out of the game.
All this talk of us going down is premature, we need to fight tooth

Its a balance though innit. Obviously tonight is a complete mismatch and we'll need to be very pragmatic, but I think we've give some of the opposition far too much respect this season, especially at home. Everton, Palace, B'muff etc we've been a bit too meek and subservient for me. They're good sides, better than us, but there's levels and none of them are Arsenal or Liverpool. At 1-0 against Muff we almost looked scared to go on and get a 2nd, sat very deep and invited a lot of pressure IMO.
