Where realistically is AAH going to get games? 16:25 - Jan 5 with 1598 viewsNeedhamChris

Can't see him getting many games for many teams in the Championship. Maybe Plymouth or Oxford?

Otherwise think it's likely a league one loan.

I don't know who's missing what, but I'd have thought a lower-end Championship side might be interested.

I think he could benefit from going to a slightly lower club, though, who are having a good season. An opportunity to play in a positive environment, surrounded by team mates who are in good form.

I think getting a game week in week out in L1 is best for him.

His pressing seemed poor, but I'm not sure what his instructions were.

Taking Delap off did put us in a world of trouble.

Good away point though.

I'd agree.

If we stay up, he probably won't be staying. If we go down, half a season in L1 will really benefit his development, and give him the best chance of playing a useful role in 25/26.

Wasnt there a deal agreed in the summer with Derby for him to go on loan, there’ll be takers for him if he becomes available

That does ring bells.

Was that before or after Kayden went there?

After I think, he’d be there now if we’d signed Broja or Latte Lath

We need him to be starting games, not chasing lost causes in the last fifteen minutes. I don't see a Champ team where he'd walk into the first eleven currently, especially given how out-dated the 4-4-2 is.

L1 for me. He doesn't even look fit. Bench fit, never mind match fit.

Would he be playing regularly though?

As soon as he comes on he looks like he needs a rest. Not chasing that ball down when he was 'fresh' was criminal and I hope we don't see him again this season.

Uppy for the comment about him giving up. That tells you everything you need to know about where he's at.

You aren’t going to get match fit playing 19/15 minutes here and there. He scored goals in the Championship, so I’d expect interest from there and League 1. People on here are way too harsh on him, given his early season injury and lack of experience.

What experience do you need to know to make an effort chasing a ball?

Yes, let’s condemn a player for one error of judgement - sadly typical of certain sections of our support.

He doesn’t look fit at all to me.

I read somewhere that his surgery in the summer wasn’t completely successful. Don’t know how true that is but it would explain a lot about his performance so far.

As someone has suggested elsewhere, I'm not so sure it was as criminal as it first appeared.

I think more a lack of judgement than effort - he assumed the ball would run out of play, rather than hold up on a slightly sticky pitch.

They were interested in the last window but it was all dependent on us getting another striker

He was about to go on loan to the Championship but we failed to get in another striker to allow that to happen.

Derby supposedly still keen if we sort ourselves out in that area.

Wouldn't surprise me if once we get another forward in (or Hirst is back) he ends with another surgery. Looks woefully short of fitness.
