I think he could benefit from going to a slightly lower club, though, who are having a good season. An opportunity to play in a positive environment, surrounded by team mates who are in good form. | |

I'd agree.
If we stay up, he probably won't be staying. If we go down, half a season in L1 will really benefit his development, and give him the best chance of playing a useful role in 25/26. | |

You aren’t going to get match fit playing 19/15 minutes here and there. He scored goals in the Championship, so I’d expect interest from there and League 1. People on here are way too harsh on him, given his early season injury and lack of experience. | | | |

As someone has suggested elsewhere, I'm not so sure it was as criminal as it first appeared.
I think more a lack of judgement than effort - he assumed the ball would run out of play, rather than hold up on a slightly sticky pitch. | |
