Look at me! 12:51 - Jan 24 with 5029 viewsstrikalite

I've played golf with the geezer who is due to fly the Town players to Liverpool at 3pm today from Stansted..

The players get their own little goodie bag on flight I'm
told when i asked if "refreshments" were available..

Town pay for everyone(cabin crew)to stay overnight in a hotel and then return on the same plane tomorrow evening..

BUT, that weather aint looking good out there, so decisions decisions today..

Thought I'd share this useless info...dunno why

It’s a four drive to Liverpool, quite frankly the fact that they are flying is absolutely ridiculous.

Poll: Who would actually care if Norwich responded with a plane banner?

Not as absolutely ridiculous as flying from Stansted to Southampton earlier in the season.

What’s even more ridiculous it’s that it’s a lot cheaper to fly from London to Liverpool (and Liverpool to Soton) than what it costs to go by train - and a lot quicker.

Well I find it ridiculous.

Something ITFC have done for a number of years, even under ME when MM was McCarthy, flew to Manchester airport, stayed just outside Preston for a Blackpool away game on the Friday and flew back the Sat night on the same plane after the game.

Looks like a Jet2 / Titan charter. We had the lads through last season at Hull, was a race to get out first between them and the Hull owner on his jet.

Teams chartering aircraft seems increasingly popular, even in Champ now though, a fair few UK based regional carriers like Logan and Eastern seem to do it.

Poll: How much did you actually think Mick would spend in January?

Not factoring in the volume of traffic (fridays, worst day to travel if they've left today) and roadworks en route ....

If the coach is over 12m in length, then it’s 60.

Did you manage to find this on a flight tracker website? I was having a look (slow afternoon) but couldn't find any STN-LIV flights showing this afternoon.

Maybe G-DRTU but not airborne yet. ADSB Exchange a solid flight tracking website if you’ve not used it before.

From an environmental respect, yes, but just shows how important tiny margins are to compete.

Truly impaired.
