So what you’re trying to say is that there’s still a chance that he’ll stay for next season?
Is it out of the realms of possibility that we sign Enciso up? on 12:17 - May 4 with 1541 views | pointofblue | I'd love Enciso to stay. But, at the same time, if we keep Szmodics and Chaplin, then there are other areas where the money should be invested first.

And not really in a good way if we're honest. The diving and play acting is a bit much. You can bank on people looking past that because it's currently going in our favour, but see him line up against us and we're all saying how he's a disgrace to the game.

Agree. Has the talent to be a top player, but all the theatrics that go with him, just doesn't make him an appealing signing for me.

Plenty of top players are full of theatrics. Would you not want Bruno Fernandes in your team because he's a complete tw@t?

I would imagine the only chance is that if there is no one else in the Premier League prepared to offer similar to what we have done this season. In that eventuality I could see the possibility of a loan with an option/obligation to buy upon promotion at a decent price. I would be happy with that. In Delap's case it would depend on us negotiating a contract with some form of attractive release clause if we are not promoted and even that probably wouldn't be enough. I would be amazed if there isn't a lot of very firm interest in him.

With respect to all 3, Chappers and Szmodics are millions of miles off Enciso.

I am not certain we have seen enough of them all playing at this level to be sure of that. I think Chaplin and Szmodics were key to us doing much better at the start of the season than we have done since Enciso has joined.

Poor comparison Imo. Fernandes has it in him but he's nowhere near Enciso's level, and the narrative that he's a tw@t in general is quite the myth IMO. He's what is holding Man Utd together right now, and everyone involved talks about him being a superb leader.

But I appreciate the point stands. And to answer it, if I dislike the player that much, then no I wouldn't want them. Hypothetically, would anyone have ever wanted Suarez turning out for us? I hope not. Enciso is a cheat, let's have it absolutely right. There's no point dressing it up.
