Whilst on the subject of Preston I just rang the PNE ticket office up and our tickets do have to be printed out and can’t be scanned off of phones, if people didn’t already know.

That is ridiculous.

Talking of Preston travel, I have a ticket for Saturday, but all trains from my part of the world up to Preston have just been cancelled because of strike action.

Thats rather frustrating, my only option now is to go east in and out of london, adding an hour+ to the journey and almost doubling the price!

RIP Sir Bobby

We booked at Sainsbury’s when we first got our tickets.

Having to print off the tickets for the game is annoying as I can’t print from my phone! Luckily Mr Bluebell was able to print them.

As long as you can walk for 15 mins or so parking on the streets is not a problem around Deepdale.

Been to Preston a few times for various games. PNE fans seem a friendly lot to be honest, so drink anywhere in the city and walk out to Deepdale as not much near the stadium.

Recommend the following:

Black Horse for a trad pub, reminds me of Tolly Folly pubs;
Plug and Taps for craft beer;
Wings & Beer Co for a mix of ales and craft, multiple tellies showing different sport, and great wings;
Late night food - nowhere beats Mick's Hut on Corporation St. Any fast food you can imagine, burgers, kebabs, fish, ribs, plus huge curry menu. Not noticed pizza on their menu, but there's a late night pizza place next door which might be why. Mick's is open til 1am

How come we are still paying £1.50 per ticket? I thought that was for sending tickets out.

I paid £6 extra for 4 tickets and had to print them!

Think it's a 'booking fee' isn't it? Not a 'postage fee'?
