Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into 19:09 - Aug 24 with 2412 views | jasondozzell | Bruno pre penalty. Bruno says it upset him and was upset the ref didn't apologise. A light brush and the ref held his hand up. Another game has gone moment.
Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 19:10 - Aug 24 with 2381 views | Bellevue_Blue | Desperately trying to create some kind of narrative from somewhere. Ref wasn't even looking at him for goodness sake.
Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 19:26 - Aug 24 with 2256 views | pointofblue | He's just trying to find an excuse for the horrendous miss.

Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 19:29 - Aug 24 with 2224 views | FoghornGleghorn | The person who walks backwards into someone else is definitely the one owed the apology. Soppy little prat.
Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 19:29 - Aug 24 with 2224 views | _clive_baker_ | Was watching in the pub so didn’t see any analysis but I thought the ref was good, tried to let the game flow as much as possible. Wouldn’t be Sky Sports without trying to create some drama where it doesn’t exist though. Who would be a ref.

I did think this. If it had been a player he would have been rolling around. There was no significant contact but Fernandes seemed to want to make it an issue before he had taken the penalty. Fernandes was the one who turned it into a mental issue. Ultimately it was very funny especially as Fulham drew the match.

Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 21:35 - Aug 24 with 1631 views | Chrisd | Yep, thought that was pathetic. Fernandez is a top player, if a slight brush with the referee has impacted on him so much, then United need to find a new penalty taker. Thought it was embarrassing at the time, still do now. On his day, Fernandez is a very good player, but a United captain, not for me.

A skilful player but far from a top player and this sort of petulance is exactly why he isn't.

Not that I care one iota but rather than him being one of the key players that united should have retained in this rebuild, I can’t help feeling he’s always maybe been the problem (well one of them at least)

Absolutely. A captain who is not a team player, who is always looking for an excuse and doesn't turn up when the pressure is on. He is typical of what the club is at the moment. I think Cunha fits in very well too.

He’s a top player, when he concentrates on playing instead of being petulant.

Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 07:35 - Aug 25 with 1039 views | Battersea_Blue | The ref actually did the "polite" thing by walking behind Bruno after instructing the keeper, rather than in front of him, as that could be deemed as averting Bruno's focus on taking the pen. Obviously Bruno was not confident anyway. To let a simple "accident" get to him is pretty pathetic and to use it as an excuse is even more pathetic.
Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 08:55 - Aug 25 with 845 views | jaseitfc2015 | I can understand why it would ruin his preparation but it’s his immaturity and entitlement that allows that to be an issue / influence his mindset .

They don't even need to barge into him. Simply step into the area and brush past him, or pick up the ball after he has put it down (the keeper often does don't they?) How does he manage with fans shining laser pens in his eyes if that was enough to put him off? I can imagine Pickford's water bottle having the instruction "just smile at him before he takes it!"

‘Pickford's water bottle’ makes for a very good username for a football internet forum.
Sky analysing the ref accidentally bumping into on 13:24 - Aug 25 with 358 views | monty_radio | I feel that break-the-net Ted Phillips from Gromford, or our own Warky would not necessarily be in sympathy with the idea that his dance routine of place ball down with a loving caress, swing to the side, shuffle, shuffle to the ball (optional hop and skip) was put out of synch because of his brush with the law.
