There has been a British pub at Alicante Airport for years, and looking at the photo I think the Wetherspoons has taken it over.
Interestingly, in naming the pub, they've opted for Valencian (similar to Catalan) rather than Spanish. [Post edited 12 Feb 8:09]

I had thought going from Monday to Friday might be a bit cheaper, but if the weather holds and I delay till next Friday, the price comes down to £58.
