I question who sets the standards on the pitch still.
Commentary team talking about getting things moving quickly. The players must feel it. But no one resetting standards. I’m sure we will see more energy after half time but why the wait.
Also clearly not allowed to take initiative in adjusting to the game - for example sindre and Clarke swapping sides for 15 mins and pushing outside their man.

The issue was wednesday changed shape. We sht ourselves slowed it down as didnt know how to do what we did at kickoff against the new shape. |  |

Are you surprised? It’s normal from what I’ve seen (granted I’m only getting to see about 1 in 2 games). The intensity just isn’t there. It’s all very laid back and lacks urgency.
Luckily we have some quality players who can make a offence an impact the game. It’s better this way around than playing nice stuff up through the lines but then having zero end product (like my nearest side). It’s a hard watch though - not much excitement in our play. |  |
