At some point this summer the question of our manager is going to be prominent.
His last campaign in the Premier league is the only blot on a sparkling managerial cv.
Do I see him being sought by other premier league clubs, the likes of Bournemouth, Crystal Palace? Yes , i do , although maybe not as a main target .
I think the man himself will see next season as an opportunity to put right a very disappointing season last time we played in Premier league.
Having given himself that chance to prove himself with the elite, i think he will take it on and possibly , if he achieves survival, this time next year we maybe looking at saying farewell to our saviour. |  | | |  |

I really hope he does stay. But the pessimist in me says he won’t.
I believe there will be a fair bit of structural change at the top of the club. McKenna has been here a long time and there will come a time when taking on a new opportunity will be the right thing to do. It may be now is the right time from his perspective.

Bournemouth have already appointed their new manager so they won’t be an option, at least until a few games into the season.
I think Palace and Fulham will be the ones to keep an eye on. Utd and Chelsea may also be keen but with Chelsea having tried Maresca and then Rosenior, I think they’ll be looking for a bigger name.
I’m torn on whether he’ll go though. He certainly seemed to be taking in the scenes and enjoying himself a lot more compared to previous years. He then talks about having some proper time away this summer, is that to think about his future? But then he also talks about the long term plan here and has proven to be committed to it previously.

Palace will be interested but will be go there? Not sure. Brighton job might not be available and the Bournemouth job is taken.

I think there was talk that Palace don't want to have to pay compensation, and that KM's package sets compensation at about the £8m mark.

I think if any club are a threat it’s Newcastle. It would be a perfect next step for him, get them into Europe and pushing for top 6/4.
I don’t see him going to anywhere that’s not going to be a step up, he has a secure job here and what ever project he is willing to take on elsewhere it has to be better than what he has here.
I don’t see the club being in a hurry to move him on as they will be aware the grass is not always greener. Also he will be very aware that managers don’t get a very big window to prove themselves at so called bigger clubs. | | | |

My only fear is that he doesn’t receive the backing from the powers that be.
Two summers ago we really didn’t give him the backing necessary to stay up. It is far too much for one man to give 100% to two essential tasks at the same time. We need to split the roles of Chairman & CEO. |  |
