Keane Relaxed on Contract Friday, 5th Nov 2010 15:11 Town boss Roy Keane says he’s relaxed about his contract situation, echoing last night’s comments by chief executive Simon Clegg. Keane’s current two-year deal is up at the end of the season.
The Blues manager said: “I’ve got seven or eight months left on my contract. It’s not really a problem. The club might be thinking about it but thinking about doing something and doing something are completely different.
“I’m dead relaxed about it. It will be dictated by results and how we do over the next few months.”
Meanwhile, Town have refused Charlton permission to play loan midfielder Lee Martin in this Saturday’s FA Cup tie at Barnet. Town are able to recall Martin from his loan spell in January.
