Town Out of Bottom Three

Town moved out of the relegation zone and into 17th in the Premier League table following this evening’s matches.

Wolves were beaten 3-0 at Newcastle United to drop to 18th behind the Blues on goal difference.

Elsewhere, second-bottom Leicester were beaten 2-0 away against Crystal Palace, who are up to 14th, while Everton, one point and one place above Town, were beaten 1-0 at home by Aston Villa.

The Blues are in home action against 11th-placed Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday evening (KO 7.30pm).

Been watching the live scores tonight. What a massive boost it would be if we can win tomorrow night and put some distance between ourselves and the bottom three.

I suspect these are the 3 teams we will need to outscore points wise to stay up at the end of the season. Still think this team is capable of kicking on and finishing higher than 17th though. Just need more experience at this level, maintain the competitively and energy levels and obvs no injuries to key players. That’s not too much too ask? :)
