Why do people keep saying players are 'too creative for us' when we have Lawrence, McGoldrick, Huws, Ward, Kenlock and Spence consistently in the team (when fit)?
What we really lack is a consistently clinical finisher, something this lad appears to be, if that showreel is to be believed.

McG yes and Lawrence is a special player though not ours and one who tends to make or finish chances for himself, but the others are all more hard workers, or have been made to be, rather than creative. This guy is a finisher but has played a central role behind the main strikers largely.

We had Fraser last season, too. Plus we've hired a horde of wingers who turned out to be not good (or not committed) enough. McCarthy is not actually allergic to creative players, they're just not that easy to come by at this level (except on loan from above).

From what I know, is that Town had an ex midfielder (recent one) that done a lot of scouting at Cambridge LAST season looking at Luke Berry. Haven't heard that we've been looking at him this season, but it wouldn't surprise me.
